Personality

Having always been more comfortable with books than people, she can seem shy and sometimes even cold with those she has just met. In truth, she's rather come to enjoy the stories others have to tell since she set out on her own. Despite her often awkward nature she generally means well, even when her social ineptitude makes it appear otherwise.

With people she's become comfortable with, she's often sarcastic and displays a rather dry wit and loves to make people laugh. She is slow to trust new people, but is fiercely loyal to the small circle of those that she can depend on.

Although rarely impulsive, she is given to bouts of cutting loose when the weight of her academic pursuits become too much.

History

The adopted daughter of traveling merchants, she spent her formative years on the roads between Thanalan and the Black Shroud, often reading any books that passed through her parents' mercantile.

Although they had hoped she would take over the family business someday, they somewhat reluctantly supported her interests, bartering for books and other learning materials for her. Despite their best efforts to teach her the fine arts of haggling and business, they usually failed to pique her curiosity for commerce.

Shortly after turning 17, she decided to start seeing the world rather than simply read about it, and thus left her parents and traveled to Limsa Lominsa. Once there she began to study the arcane arts under the tutelage of those at the Arcanist's Guild, taking particularly well to the arts of healing and mending.

Having a natural proclivity for curative magicks, she endeavors to further study the profound effects it can manifest within the body and mind.

She also operates a small medical clinic within the Goblet where she sees patients and conducts her research.
